Speech Intelligibility
Communicating clearly is foundational to a person's confidence and success. Let me help you or your child achieve greater intelligibility through improving speech articulation, rate, or fluency so others will listen to WHAT is being said and not how you are saying it.
Social Skills
More than ever, with masks and communicating digitally, students and adults on the autism spectrum need clear, explicit teaching in social communication skills. Individual and group sessions available.
Language Comprehension and Expression
Whether a student has language needs in listening comprehension, auditory/visual memory, finding the words to specifically express themselves, or using words grammatically, any language difficulty impacts a student's success in school. I can help pinpoint areas of need and offer strategies and exercises for growth.
Reading Skills
Speech-Language Pathologists have deep understanding of the building blocks that result in fluent and accurate reading that is understood by the reader. I offer services to supplement your child's early reading skills in phonics, phonemic awareness, reading fluency and reading comprehension.
Accent Reduction/Modification
If your educational or professional life is being negatively impacted by an accent that makes it difficult for native English listeners to understand you easily, I can help analyze why. Our sessions will focus on helping you modify your speech to be better understood and gain confidence.
